Why can't we just get a URL to see your beta / test Doffin instance (until preview is live, but even after I would find this to be natural and useful for all parties)? Maybe behind basic http auth or something similar if you don't want to make it public-public? CC @kjorlaug
We have test-instance of Dofifn, but there is no routine for publishing running there. For now we offer the same support-level as TED that gives access to validation-services in both test/dev and production.
It is unacceptable that we only get a technical validation and have no way of see how Doffin actually will interpret and show a notice until it is published in prod. (Getting there itself is a frustrating flow for our clients, with two days of delay to get a validation error from TED last week for an issue that was validated OK both on anskaffelser.dev, our own validator based on a similar approach and on Doffin itself[1]).
You must have a test instance of Doffin internally? Maybe give vendors access to this behind basic http auth or something? Being able to click through (auto-)approved versions of things submitted through the API would help a lot, even if data is reset every night and/or a bit unstable, while we wait for proper preview.
Separately, but somewhat related: There is nothing like a webhook registration API so we could get notified on every status change? So to show the status of a publication to our end customers, we simply have to poll the API?

[1] - No doubt this notice had errors, but just the flow getting there was suboptimal, with us getting the notice about validation error (on email, that could go unnoticed) Friday 0910 after a submit on Wed.
