[x] Push tag and release
[x] Verify PyPI release, GH release, doc release
[x] Update CNAME (on main and repo settings)
[x] Cherrypick #19 #20 #21 onto release branch
[x] Set version to 2023.2.0
[x] Release 2023.2.0
[x] At some point, make the repo public
