Support SCTE 35 #4810

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The AntMedia server is not parsing SCTE 35 tags or events and therfore not presenting them on the stream output as an RFC 8216 compliant data stream. I have verified this issue with AntMedia technical support and they have verified that this is a feature that is not currently implemented.

Describe the solution you'd like The Media server should parse the SCTE 35 and convert it to an RFC 8216 EXT-X-(SCTE tag) and then present this data in the .m3u8 data stream on the output.

Describe alternatives you've considered This is just a complince with the RFC 8216 hls issue and there is no alternative.

Additional context May be more important to the sucess of your media server than you are currently aware of.

The user has agreed to test with a license. Freshdesk Ticket #85496.

Follow up once the feature is complete.

@mekya Please confirm when work on this feature has been scheduled so the customer can work with us to test the functionality.

Hi @timantmedia , According to some changes in the priorities, we did need to postpone this issue. I think we can start this issue maybe one month later.
