When broadcast speed falls below 0.05x, the MP4 recording speeds up playback

The attached MP4 recording shows a blinking light which is set to blink at a constant rate. At the very end of the video recording, (time position 43:10) the video playback is accelerated. You can see that the light is blinking at about double the speed.

Streaming is at 30 fps but the recording is at 45 fps when analysing the video file.

The expected playback rate is normal up until the broadcast speed falls to around 0.05x at which point, the playback of the recording is sped up.

Shall we make the issue clear for the one who does not know anything about this issue? So my questions are

• How is the video being published to the server? The protocol and the tool. Such RTMP, OBS ,etc
• Is there any adaptive bitrate settings on the server side?
• This problem happens all the time or is it happened one time?
• Is there any network issue at the end of the session?

Generally reproduce scenario answers the questions above.

Hello @mekya, its actually my issue so ill provide as much information as i can.

How is the video being published to the server? The protocol and the tool. Such RTMP, OBS ,etc RTMP Is there any adaptive bitrate settings on the server side? No This problem happens all the time or is it happened one time? All the time after 30-40min of streaming Is there any network issue at the end of the session? No issues on the network side

The device that im using is TBS 2603au encoder amazon link - it has a possibility to connect a webcam into it and stream it as RTMP. It can simultaneously stream two sources HDMI and Webcam and im using both at the same time however webcam goes to 0.05x and the recording is accelerated as @timantmedia posted but meanwhile HDMI stream seems to be fine all the time. I can provide all the additional logs and everything that i needed.

This issue is really critical for me.

I can add that in live preview the video from the webcam looks allright but recording is messed up.
