Ant Media supports SIP connector concept?

Hell there, I am software engineer who is trying to check the functions of Ant Media server. Our team is checking many things related to WebRTC communication using AMS according to our various scenario, and we are really happy that AMS shows us good performance for our requirements.

In one of scenario, we are considering to support SIP client with AMS. But honestly, I am not an in this field so I have no idea how to approach this topic. So, I would like to ask a question with example case.

Environment

• device A: only support SIP protocol
• device B: integrated with AMS

Goal

• We want device A and B to do a video call.

Although I am not an expert in this field, it seems like that something with the concept of SIP connector(?) needs to be in the middle to play a relay role.

Does Ant has an experience about our requirement? Or can you give some advise for us?

Hi @jwkim2079, Thank you for raising this issue. You're right there should be a SIP connector between device A and device B for your case and we don't have SIP connector.

Even if we don't have experience in SIP side, we think that yes we need to support SIP and provide SIP connector. According to your project scenario and if there is a good win-win, we may try to find some resources to make this SIP connector.
