HIDING SCREEN TEXT PROBLEM #331

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. VIEW TAB
2. OPTIONS  (NO SUCH TAB)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected for the Select Mode help material on the screen to go away.
I continue to see the screen text for Select Mode

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.13.0
Windows 7 Home

Please provide any additional information below.

the screen text instructions at the bottom say that if you want to hide this 
help (view options->screen text)  I can not find the view options tab to do 
this.

"Options" tab can be found from the "Window" menu
