When the temporal resolution allows, we will need to start considering tidal information. An example of netCDF formated tidal information can be found at https://www.bodc.ac.uk/resources/delivery_formats/sea_level/

This issue has been stale for some while, and I don't see this as a priority to be done soon. Closing as unplanned. It may be reopened in future once temporal Dijkstra has been implemented
