There is currently a bug in the Python version of FAIR v1.6.2. Additional CO2 emissions from CH4 oxidation are added to all four carbon pools (i.e. 4x too many emissions are added). However, the fossilCH4_frac parameter is set to 0.0 in the default settings, which results in zero oxidized emissions.
These oxidized emissions are currently not coupled into the carbon cycle in the Julia version of FAIR.
