First: I know 'github' is more about objects, but

2nd: hope everything is okay by\for you.

Since May(?) 2022 there is no way to get the required connection to: 'Googlemail' - because their 'security standards'(two factor authentification). I use my 'KDE-Plasma' longer than some 'Plasmoids' exists - and it feels just wrong to see here so much potential: but no sings of life.

Maybe (Y)our 'gmailfeed' is not longer available (in the repos) for new users and I have just ignored the warnings from 'Google' way to hard😆 But anyways I hope some things(?) stays good and forever....

Wouldn't it be possible to use 'gmailfeed' with a second provider/email-adress(just for notification)? However, I will find a way - but I am not gifted like you. Your solution would fit for masses🙂

But I will learn and give something be a part of 'FOSS' . Thank you for your time.

I've just tried the new release about a month ago but unfortunately it didn't work. It seems some more work should be put in to the new feature of integration with KDE Online Accounts, which requires software packages like signond, qml-module-org-kde-accounts, libkaccounts2, kaccounts-providers, kaccounts-integration (it might be better to mention this in ReadMe.md for people like me who don't normally use these). I first tried naturally adding a new account under the category "GMail / GMail Feed", but following the authentication process, a message from google-gmail said "This app is blocked: This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access." I then tried my luck with adding a new account under the category "Google / Includes Gmail, Hangouts, Google Drive and YouTube. However, following the successful completion of the authentication process, the Account Details just said " Use This Account For / YouTube / Upload files to YouTube". I guess that's why this account didn't appear in GMail Feed configuration > Accounts > Current account... screenshots
