Back navigation not working!! #604

The back navigation is not working with buttons of the phone as well as with button in tabs view Version 4.5.2

What device and Android version are you on?

I also have this problem. cm12.1 Android 5.1.1 an Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. Tested with the back button on the phone and the back button in lightning. On websites it works and on some websites it directly close the whole tab. For test purposes I tried firefox klar and on all websites it can go one page back. Not sure when it come in. lightning 4.5.1 from f-droid. Since downgrade is not supported by f-droid can I export / import the settings to test an older version?

I have done a quick test with the old version 4.5.0 and these don't have the problems. Seems to be a bug introduced in 4.5.1.

It was working for me with lineage os webview version 60. But since monday, the last lineage os uptated webview to 63, and I have now this issue. Tried with Google webview from playstore, v63 too, and same issue

And by the way, bug occurs too with 4.5.0 here

662 I think the problem is found. The bug is in webview.
