My company uses PostGres on AWS.
Since we moved to AWS from Heroku, I can connect, run queries, and see some databases with tables and columns, but not our production DB. (When I click "Manage", a table list is shown.)
I was told the root cause is this:
The problem is that the database that you have access to connect to is a semi random (d3m1d66l1kigms_analytics_pool) to prevent attackers from guessing the correct endpoint, but at the cluster level, the database name that contains data is named kajabi_products. Most clients handle this scenario without problem, but when Azure sees the kajabi_products database, it tries to establish a new connection to kajabi_products but we have it configured to not allow direct connections. So Azure throws the error Database not found: kajabi_products.
