Angelo From thee, even from thy virtue! What's this, what's this? Is this her fault or mine? The tempter or the tempted, who sins most, ha? Not she: nor doth she tempt: but it is I That, lying by the violet in the sun, Do as the carrion does, not as the flower, Corrupt with virtuous season. Can it be That modesty may more betray our sense Than woman's lightness? Having waste ground enough, Shall we desire to raze the sanctuary And pitch our evils there? O, fie, fie, fie! What dost thou, or what art thou, Angelo? Dost thou desire her foully for those things That make her good? O, let her brother live! Thieves for their robbery have authority When judges steal themselves. What, do I love her, That I desire to hear her speak again, And feast upon her eyes? What is't I dream on? O cunning enemy, that, to catch a saint, With saints dost bait thy hook! Most dangerous Is that temptation that doth goad us on To sin in loving virtue: never could the strumpet, With all her double vigour, art and nature, Once stir my temper; but this virtuous maid Subdues me quite. Even till now, When men were fond, I smiled and wonder'd how.

Mercutio O, then, I see Queen Mab hath been with you. She is the fairies' midwife, and she comes In shape no bigger than an agate-stone On the fore-finger of an alderman, Drawn with a team of little atomies Athwart men's noses as they lie asleep; Her wagon-spokes made of long spiders' legs, The cover of the wings of grasshoppers, The traces of the smallest spider's web, The collars of the moonshine's watery beams, Her whip of cricket's bone, the lash of film, Her wagoner a small grey-coated gnat, Not so big as a round little worm Prick'd from the lazy finger of a maid; Her chariot is an empty hazel-nut Made by the joiner squirrel or old grub, Time out o' mind the fairies' coachmakers. And in this state she gallops night by night Through lovers' brains, and then they dream of love; O'er courtiers' knees, that dream on court'sies straight, O'er lawyers' fingers, who straight dream on fees, O'er ladies ' lips, who straight on kisses dream, Which oft the angry Mab with blisters plagues, Because their breaths with sweetmeats tainted are: Sometime she gallops o'er a courtier's nose, And then dreams he of smelling out a suit; And sometime comes she with a tithe-pig's tail Tickling a parson's nose as a' lies asleep, Then dreams, he of another benefice: Sometime she driveth o'er a soldier's neck, And then dreams he of cutting foreign throats, Of breaches, ambuscadoes, Spanish blades, Of healths five-fathom deep; and then anon Drums in his ear, at which he starts and wakes, And being thus frighted swears a prayer or two And sleeps again. This is that very Mab That plats the manes of horses in the night, And bakes the elflocks in foul sluttish hairs, Which once untangled, much misfortune bodes: This is the hag, when maids lie on their backs, That presses them and learns them first to bear, Making them women of good carriage: This is she-- True, I talk of dreams, Which are the children of an idle brain, Begot of nothing but vain fantasy, Which is as thin of substance as the air

Stephen I know I know I know. Look - I was scared. I was scared and totally confused and it's like - like I was paralyzed. I didn't even know if it was worth telling you about if - If you came back and said - yeah, Thompson's in the bag but ... Fuck Paul I don't know. You know me Paul. You know I would never - I should've called last night. I should've and I didn't. This is the first time Paul. The first time I ever really fucked up. And I'm sorry. I am so sorry. We can figure this out. There has to be a way to figure this out. Paul. Please. You gotta forgive me on this. I feel absolute shit. I feel terrible. Last night I was so - You wanna know the truth? I was so wound up about this shit that I went out and got wasted. Totally wasted. Drank myself to oblivion. Slept with some girl I shouldn't have. I dealt with this completely the wrong way. So I'm coming clean now. I came out here to the airport to tell you this so we can figure it out. I know if we put our heads together and we - Goddammit! I'm sorry. I am so so so I am so sorry. I feel like I'm - I feel like - It's not ok.

Chris You can't have her. I can't let you have her. You gotta give her up cause I can't look her in the eyes otherwise. Do you understand Joe? I don't want my sister to see you again. I don't think you're a good influence. I mean come on Joe you kill people for Chrissake. You know? No offense. I mean it's not like me and Dad or Mom have been especially good influences. But Dottie managed to turn out alright anyway. And it just seems like the best thing I can do for her now is to keep her away from people who won't do her any good. So I think it'd be best if you and me just shook hands and forgot any of us ever met. Is that ok? Can't we walk away from this before it goes too far? None of us are any better off but we're really no worse off either. I'm no better off. I owe Digger Soames six thousand dollars. I'll never have that kind of money not ever. And you know even if I had it wouldn't that suck handing it over to these guys? I'd wanna keep that money try to make something with it.

PROTEUS I will. [Exit VALENTINE] Even as one heat another heat expels, Or as one nail by strength drives out another, So the remembrance of my former love Is by a newer object quite forgotten. Is it mine, or Valentine's praise, Her true perfection, or my false transgression, That makes me reasonless to reason thus? She is fair; and so is Julia that I love-- That I did love, for now my love is thaw'd; Which, like a waxen image, 'gainst a fire, Bears no impression of the thing it was. Methinks my zeal to Valentine is cold, And that I love him not as I was wont. O, but I love his lady too too much, And that's the reason I love him so little. How shall I dote on her with more advice, That thus without advice begin to love her! 'Tis but her picture I have yet beheld, And that hath dazzled my reason's light; But when I look on her perfections, There is no reason but I shall be blind. If I can cheque my erring love, I will; If not, to compass her I'll use my skill.

GUY Well it didn't hurt getting all those extra toppings! It didn't! I even thought about dumping you when you quit that place but ... 'S a joke. Seriously though ... I did think you were great and I'm so glad that we started going out ... It's been you know like totally nice. It has. But ... So look I was gonna say that umm we should ... Anyhow I don't think that's always what's happening between couples if you really look at it. When one of them says that or proposes it. A you know split. Sometimes it's not that it's not strictly a breakup or a severing of their ... right? Sometimes it's just that they seem headed in different directions and they maybe ... it's only a suggestion of a "breather." A slight period of time spent apart. A respite. I've heard that one used too..."respite." I'm just trying to say that ... Se I'd like to talk about the future that's all ... What our future might be. Like if you see us having one of those. A future together I mean.
