will not update fleetcarrier.space #2

As the title says it will not update. just says check CMDR name which i did and its fine. Could you maybe see when you can whats happening 07

Hi @LexRottie . Thanks for reporting an issue.

Two questions:

  1. Please ensure whether you are running the latest version of this plug-in (https://github.com/anthonylangsworth/FCMS/releases/tag/v0.10) and EDMC (version 5.0 or later). There was a bug in a recent version that stopped the plug-in loading for new users.
  2. If you are running the latest version and are still seeing problems, please attach the EDMC log file. You can find this under %temp%\EDMarketConnector.log. This will help me diagnose your issue further.

hi thanks for the reply yes I've got all the up to date versions. For some reason i cant find the log file anywhere on my pc

Thanks. The log shows the plug-in loaded OK. Can you attempt a fleet carrier jump, cancel it then send me the log again, please?

tried again still same outcome could this be a problem with mt changing my commander name at any point?

It is good that you have confirmed your name and email are exactly the same. Note that some people have a "CMDR" prefix before their name in https://fleetcarrier.space. Please ensure it matches exactly. Otherwise, the API key is quite long. Make sure you have copied all of it over.

It could be, I'm afraid. I am not aware of anyone else having a similar issue.

EDIT: If you changed your commander name, that could be a problem. Please ensure the commander namer in the FCMS plug-ings settings dialog matches the one in https://fleetcarrier.space, not the one you use in Elite: Dangerous.

yea its all the same so i dont really know whats happening haha. the only thing i think would help would be a way of removing my accout off the fleet carrier site and making a new one but i cant see that option

I would join the "EDCD" Discord, if you have not done so already, and ask Absolver on the "#fleetcarrier_space" channel. He runs the website and may be able to help you further. I am also on that channel and can add technical detail (or fix my plug in if that's the problem).
