Hi Phil,
I made these changes in my setup and confirm all well.
Cheers
Jason
These look great, thanks for the commit!
Thanks Anthony,
Very excited to hear from you. I don’t have experience with JavaScript. I’m an old “pascal” electrical engineer from the 80’s so its all new to me.
I would like to write some more accessories related to measurement ie. temperature, current and maybe some others and also look through the HomeKit services and see what else will work with CBus.
I also use the homebridge-gsh and homebridge-Alexa plug-ins that allow me to also control CBus with Siri, google and Alexa (plus Cortana via Alexa) and it was your CBus plug-in that made it all happen!
Many thanks for your time, effort and kindness in coding and sharing your plugin.
Kind regards
Jason

Nice to hear from you Jason! I'm glad that you are getting use from the plugin. I'm really keen to know more about your stack. Have you have tried it with the latest iOS 13 release? Also, are you running homebridge on a raspberry pi?
Thanks for time Anthony,
I’m running on a Windows 10 pc. Mostly because it has my C-Gate, CBus Toolkit, PICED, TICA, CIRCA and my alarm commissioning software on it. It sits in a rack and is dedicated to this purpose.
I would like to try CBus/homebridge on a pi but it’s currently “not broken”.
I have the latest iOS 13 and it seems stable with the homebridge. There are more icons available in HomeKit.
I’m playing around wi Th a magic mirror on a pi. You can install the google assistant on it. I can now use the mirror to control CBus (also thanks to you).
I have attached a picture of my CBus/servers. I wired it up as I am also and electrical contractor. There is still some wiring to do...hence the wires hanging down on the front. Reed switched for each window.
Cheers
Jason

Glad to know it is working on windows! I may give that a try for fun. I have really enjoyed my clipsal setup, It has been a real fun hobby. Sounds like we think a lot alike :)
Dear Anthony,
I would be happy if I can contribute just a fraction of what you have!
I’m seeing it as an exercise in learning javascript!
Hope to contribute some more soon if you have the time to integrate into your codebase.
Best wishes
Jason

Hi Anthony,
I have put a simple smoke detector up for a pull request for the homebridge-CBus plugin. If you are happy with it and have time, can you approve it?
I’m working on a temp sensor and have a proof of concept going. There’s some people interested and I would love to get it going. I have written up what I’m up against in the CBus forums and your GitHub CBus page. I’m a novice at node.js! I hope to get it going without undermining your already awesome coding.
Hope you are well.
Cheers
Jason
