Hi. Thank you for the encouragements.
I suggest you install HACS rather than copying the folder, there are quite a few tutorials for that, updates will be easier.
For the lovelace part, you can watch this:
For these points:
Empty pot notifications (possibly before it is actually empty so the stove does not turn off) The sensor.xxx_stove_status entity reports the empty container. You can also use sensor.xxx_stove_consumption with automations and sensor models to calculate a container level estimate. Look at rika_gsg.yaml and the automation example
Geofencing, turn on the stove when you get closer to home You can use proximity integration for this
Turn on the stove to maintain an average temperature throughout the day in several rooms There are many options for this... Automations, Scheduler component, calendar, ... To bypass the temperature sensor, you can use manual mode and turn the stove on/off. If you want adaptive heating power, you can use the PID thermostat, simply sending power based on the deviation between your rooms' current temperatures and the target temperature.
Hi @antibill51 I wanted to thank you for the brilliant integration. I'm very new to Home Automation (it's amazing) and I currently have a Rika Sumo at home. I managed to drop the
custom_components
folder and restart HA and I got the Rika integration. I'd like to ask if you could have some instructions for adding the card you shown in the README.Also I'd love to implement following automations:
Do you have any suggestions how I could achieve those automations?
Thanks in advance
