Font Smoothing in Windows #5

Font looks choppy and pixelated on windows XP machines, and Chrome on windows. This is because of both using an older font render that doesn't work well and using pixel-hammering.

Work-around is to use GDI++ on affected machines or increase font-size. can work on fixing font-rendering on windows, but it's time-consuming. Anyone that wants to pick this up, go ahead. Most modern font-smoothing techniques render typefaces much better than Windows, which breaks even it's own fonts occasionally.

Can anyone get me a list of all the vertical and horizontal stems for each character and start listing them here? I need it to finish the smoothing in windows, but its a huuuuuuuge project, and something I can't do quickly on my own. Help? Perhaps put it in a text file? I just need to make it a list in the glyphs font-info window.

Spent a good amount of time figuring out stem widths on characters. Probably needs improvement, but I need windows users to try it out and see how it looks. Anyone? http://www.box.com/shared/c75u511z47bl18tahtj7
