Discuss the vision of the project, design and better ways to collaborate. #8

Think about a couple of things (vision, design and collaboration) to discuss next week:

  1. Vision of the project: I see this project in three phases. Phase I is controlling the LEDs via multiple clients and having the server provide some kind of status back to the clients. Phase II is working with sound. This means controlling it (emitting different kinds of notes) and synching it with the LEDs. Phase III is attaching the Raspberry PI to some kind of toy car or moving device so that we can control its movements through the client.
  2. Design and tasks-Let's also discuss the design issues so that we can agree on the interfaces and then folks can work on the implementation. Then, let's assign future tasks.

3 .Collaboration- I'm sure some of us can bang out the project by ourselves in a couple of weeks, but that would defeat the purpose of working together as a team. Let's think about how we break the tasks better so that everyone has a chance to work on the server and other parts of the system.

@antimeme @mikegomezg @JohnnyRobotic @amurray22 @TheTallOne0606 @jorgelr617 Thanks Jorge. I know I have been pushing to do some of the work on my own and maybe I'm moving it along too quickly. If I'm stepping on any toes then anyone should please feel free to let me know. My feeling won't be hurt :) I'm just having fun with this stuff right now and have free time to spend on the project so I have been looking for pieces that I know I can complete.
