Up/-Downvote arrows not visible #75

On Firefox (7.0.1) I can't see the unicode up-/downvote arrows.

Works fine on Safari/Chrome on the same machine (OS X 10.7.2). Same error with Camino 2.0.9 (which uses the Mozilla Gecko engine, too, albeit probably a much older version), and with SeaMonkey 2.4.1, as well as with the latest "Aurora" betas.

That's strange. I'm using Firefox 7.0.1 in OS X 10.7.2 and I can see them. Can you investigate further?

I tested it with a new user and could see the arrows.

Seems to be an OS X/Mozilla/Fonts issue, as deleting all my "User" Fonts makes the arrows work again. Will pass this further on to Mozilla…
