I open buil.gradle in IntelliJ IDEA 2023.1 (Community Edition) I have errors:

I have installed bundled Gradle plugin. I try change from Java 11 to Java 8

From the docs:

Java 17 is required (blog post when targeting 2022.2 or later only.

Java 11 is required (blog post) when targeting 2020.3 and later only.

This won't work with Java 8.
