Pixiv Download Problem #115

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
I've found that posts such as this
http://pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=17234014
won't be downloaded.
These are posts that are a multi-image post, and so create a folder and have to
check for the pictures to go to it.

However, when it does, it seems it always searches for a 'big' version
(full-size) of the image, and as such will generate a url like this:
http://i2.pixiv.net/img16/img/cappin/17234014_big_p0.jpg?1299603100

The problem is this: that image's url is this:
http://i2.pixiv.net/img16/img/cappin/17234014_p0.jpg?1299603100

The _big is not part of it. So, Nekopaw will generate the folder for the files,
but not download anything.

Could this please be fixed? If it's merely a setting I'm overlooking, I'm not
sure what to do...

Um, I put the wrong links to show it...

Post:
http://pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=7890445

Generated link:
http://i2.pixiv.net/img16/img/cappin/7890445_big_p0.jpg

Link should be: (without _big)
http://i2.pixiv.net/img16/img/cappin/7890445_p0.jpg

However, I DID have a problem with the previously posted link(s). It gives an
error of "Cannot create file [file location]. The filename, directory name, or
volume label syntax is incorrect"
I'm not sure why on that one...

I'll check it only after 17th now, outside of the city on vacation :)

That's fine. ^_^

Also, I found this: The R-18G (guro/gore) tag isn't treated as a rating (like
the R-18 tag, usable as a folder-sorting). If that could also be fixed, that'd
be very nice.
Neither does the R-15, though I'm fine with that.

... And another: If a title (using the tag, at least) has a long enough name,
it cuts off after 24 digits then replaces the rest with a "...". I would really
rather just have the full name, and can't find a setting for this either.
Does a 24-digit limit apply to all tags? I'd rather not have that...

Didn't noticed there is other rating excluding common R-18. I'll add it.
>And another: If a title (using the tag, at least) has a long enough name
Can you give an example?

^_^ I guess R-15 could be useful too, for those that care. Thanks!

24 character limit here:
http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=17234014

When I downloaded this, it gave a title of:
「夢の東方タッグ編 衣装読本表紙」(そして、馬鹿...
instead of:
「夢の東方タッグ編
衣装読本表紙」(そして、馬鹿のイイワケ)

It's also another example of the downloading "_big" problem (when it shouldn't
add that, making a fake link and downloading nothing; it just creates the
folder and shows progress at 100% instead of a Checkmark.)

Oh, and thanks for the English changelist in the program! ^_^

Actually, it probably would be. Could R-15 be recognized as well?

Fixed problem with rating and title cuting. "_big" not yet.

Thanks! I hope that can be fixed soon... it'd be nice to not have to manually
download those files (which can be a lot...).

I just had a weird problem. While trying to download a gallery, it would keep
stopping after only 1 or two files (or not even finishing one). I'd have to
frequently stop and start the downloads until it finally finished.
I have no idea what happened this time...

Really weird, I thought I just fixed it in last version.

Maybe it was a different aspect of the same problem?

Still, it DOES work, and it hasn't happened again since.
Still hoping the Album issue will be fixed soon! ^_^

O_O; and now it won't recognize albums? There wasn't even an update and it was
working fine last time...
Instead of downloading them, or even indicating that they are an album, it
tries several times to download an image, then gives an "incorrect filesize"
error...

Oh, and sorry, a question about a setting: on Pixiv settings, next to where you
put the User ID, there is a droplist that has works/favorites/works (id in
tags)/favorites (id in tags)

What does the "id in tags change?

Original comment by JarieSui...@gmail.com on 24 Jun 2013 at 11:25

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Like description say, you need to input ID not in special field, but in TAGS.
This option added for "tag list".
Example:
If you want to download works of 5 authors at the same time using the same
options, you can chose "works (id in tags)" and make "tag list" ("..." button
near tags field -> create tag list). After that just input all author's IDs in
text editor (1 on line).

But I heard there is other bug, it must be associated with "picture not
assigned" issue, which I fixed last time, but not checked yet.

So much bugs so little time :)

Oh my... that would mean I could get ALL of the artists I want all at once?!
Instead of making multiple tabs individually each time!? >_< And It'd be easy
to get updates too!

Now I just need to wait for the new Album bug and the "_big" issues to be
fixed, then I can finally rampage... -_-;
Oooh, I hope it's soon...

Wait, could the Albums not downloading at all be from another update to Pixiv?

>could the Albums not downloading at all
At first I don't get what you mean. But then I tried to download from 3 authors
and got "incorrect filesize" error.

I see no problems! Thank you!
Hm, a note, just because I did notice it, in regard to the _big album problem.
It does work (thank you!), but it does show the url as having the _big under
the Label category when downloading. Under the General tab, it shows it
correctly though. I just thought I'd let you know.
