Idea to make tags more useful #122

I've had to restart gallery downloads a number of times (rarely because of the
program), and it's a bit depressing to have to wait for the tags to be
re-downloaded every time.

Could it be added that a file(s) is made that stores tags for images for future
downloads of the same gallery?
This would be especially useful when having to restart massive galleries (like
one with over 2,000 images that I've been trying to get for a couple of days
and had to restart twice...), as well as when downloading new images from an
artist.

It would also help with that problem of the program often stopping a download
partway through (and thus requiring the stop/start of the download) when
downloading the tags (and images) of large galleries.

For it I planed to make saving/loading files with possible autosaving.

>stopping a download partway through
more interesting, why THIS happen.

I look forward to that! ^_^

Yeah... it's the same problem I mentioned on the other issue.

I hope that update helps it... I'll be testing while I sleep. ^_^;

Well, that seems to have done the trick so far! I just did two bulks and they
finished just fine!

Though... that fished out one or two new problems. -_-;

One: I don't remember which album, and closed it too soon, so I can't give an
example. It found an image it couldn't download is all I noticed. I had tested
to see if it was a big/medium/small issue in the URL, but nothing worked. It
didn't even come up when I went to the original post and viewed the album.

Two: Medium size (xxxx_m.jpg) might be needed as a final URL download option,
assuming Big (xxxx_big.jpg) and Small (xxxx_s.jpg) don't work. It seems to be a
rare issue (I've found only one so far) but I DO have links for this one.
http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=11550880
http://i1.pixiv.net/img53/img/frpjx283/11550880_m.jpg
I had to use View Image Source in Firefox to get it's individual link.
Apparently there are some images (I don't know if this relates to the first,
album, issue) that only are 'Medium' size, but because of that don't get
accessed like normal. If you click on the image in the regular URL, it will
take you to a blank page with the same URL (that's what happened to me at
least).

You can't access direct links (ended with extension like *.jpg) without referer
mark (referer - it's where from you're trying to get access). It means you can
access this kind of url only with modified referer or only from resource, where
it located. In another words, in PIXIV you can access directly only post_url.

Actually, looks like picture is bugged or something, it's not showing
"original" version, so it's must be finished with error. HTML debugger returns
404 for it.

Well, with that last update it seems to be working wonderfully! I only have one
of those download issues about once every several thousand images, so it's no
big deal (I don't mind doing things the old-fashioned way now and then ^_^)

Now if only Tag saving and Blacklisting were in, I'd have no complaints about
functionality... ^_^;
