6 years ago The patch you have to apply is the lightfx 64-bit one. place it in the same directory as dyinglightgame.exe.
It lights the wwhole keyboard a faint grey if you have hsv enabled, green in safehouses, white if you have the flashlight on and red if you take damage.

6 years ago As for applying the patch automatically, it works for the steam version but i just copied some code from other supported games in the app ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

6 years ago Ah okay, yeah the full keyboard lighting is not working with the files i put in there so that patch sounds like it what I need to do. Where can I find a solo download of the 64 bit patch?

6 years ago Also i'm not 100% where the hsv option is to ensure its enabled or not.

6 years ago Can confirm that the effects are not working only the keys from the profile are lit up after playing for a while.

6 years ago I can tell you the effects are working, I played DL yesterday. You can find the patch in the settings, devices and wrappers tab. Press patch lightfx(64-bit, 32 wont work) and place it in the same directory as "dyinglightgame.exe". One thing is that I'm running the latest build, you might be running an older version.

6 years ago Try what @diogotr7 said. As for auto-detecting the GOG install, I don't know if GOG gives out enough information to find the install, but I'll try and see if I can get it working for the next big release.

I have manually patched the game (using the files from Overwatch as it was stated they should work with most games) The profile DOES load and the keys in the preview do indeed light up, but my question is, is it just static key lighting or am I supposed to see effects ect? Unsure if I just haven't played enough to see it or its because I manually patched the game, or it just doesn't have any effects at all.
