I wanted to ask in general, if interest exists to add another View Type/Equalizer Effect option to the Audio Visualizer Layer.
At the moment I am working on a new Effect type and View Type which encodes the amplitude of the different frequencies not in the height of the boxes (in case of Power Bars Effect) but in the brightness of the frequency areas.
You can see a direct comparison between Power Bar Effect in combination with horizontal gradient (lower image) and the new effect with amplitude encoded in brightness (upper image).
In my case I'm using this to have continuous brightness changes on my LED strip in order to prevent LEDs switching from 0% to 100% brightness.
I am curious if there is any interest in such a functionality.
