Multicoloured keys when key fades out on Roccat Ryos FX #1528

It's tough to describe as different layer types react differently but it all seems to be the same issue. For this example though I will use 'Gradient Layer' and 'Interactive Layer'.

Expected behavior:

Gradient Layer - When animating it should flow along the board the same as the gradient. Interactive Layer - When a key is about to fade out at the end of the ripple it should just fade to black or w,e the background colour is.

Actual behavior:

Gradient Layer - Every key randomly flashes all sorts of different colours (think glitch layer) but you can see the gradient also moving below these random colour flashes. Interactive Layer - At the end of the ripple the effect should fade out, instead as it's fading out (once it reaches about 10% opacity it flashes random colours).

How often does this problem occur?

Constant.

Please describe the steps to reproduce this issue:

The issue can be reproduced by doing following steps:

Gradient Layer

  1. Set layer type to gradient layer
  2. Set to rainbow (seamless)
  3. Set animation type to translate X and Y.

Interactive Layer

  1. Set layer type to interactive layer
  2. Set effect type to key wave
  3. Set any primary/secondary colour
  4. Tap a single key and watch as the end of the wave flashes random colours before fading out.

What is the version of Aurora you are experiencing this issue with?

Beta v0.6.4b

Does the previous version of Aurora have this issue?

This has been happening since 0.62 (when Roccat Talk was first released)
