Headset Support And Color Wave Based On Sound #390

Open selmansavas opened 7 years ago

selmansavas commented 7 years ago

Could it be done via Aurora like the SoundBlaster headsets, pulsating with tone type of thing? Or/And for keyboard and mouse?

Paradyse19 commented 7 years ago

if you are talking about an equalizer then that is already in Aurora. Add a layer to your Profile and under Layer type choose equalizer.

settings working best for me are: Power Spectrum,Max amplitude 9, Alternating colors, and set to Rainbow

selmansavas commented 7 years ago

Not equalizer, what in my mind is, selecting the headset peripheral (or keyboard or mouse for that matter) and make it colors go bright or dim depending on the sound that is currently playing. Equalizer affects everything that is selected.

Edit: And support for mouse and headset specific settings maybe? Dont know how hard it is or complex, just asking ^_^

oh okay guess i missunderstood you

antonpup commented 7 years ago

I know what you mean. I'll see if I can include some effects to the music beat.

I have a SteelSeries Arctis 5 and I would love an integration, especially with the equalizer function (although it should be named visualizer)

simon-wh commented 6 years ago

@zejjnt It has been renamed to visualizer in v0.6.1-dev4

I also have the SteelSeries Arctis 5 and have been looking into controlling the color on my headset with game integrations such as overwatch so the color changes with my hero. I haven't seen how this can be done so far in the current software version so I assume this isn't a thing but I would love some support for this in the future.

Duplicate of other headset issues

zejjnt commented 5 years ago

At least link the other issue then

simon-wh commented 5 years ago

@zejjnt For the Steelseries Arctis 5, I'm throwing it under #1395 and for proper support of headsets I was going to put under #546, but I've now realised that it makes more sense for it to be on this issue.
