After installation no scanning possible

After the script is has run i can login to the Web GUI but when starting a scan with the wizard i the scan starts but stops at once and i get a Severity: error.

Using a fresh Kali Linux 2020.2 64 bit vmware applicance.

this happened to me when I installed GCE OS 6.0.7 if I remember correctly
