I looked under Group Management -> Domains at my Pi-hole and saw, that all entries from this script have assigned to no group.
So I think they don't trigger, they must in the group that is in use (or that the user wants to, when more than one exists).
There exist one default group (think is named default) under Group Management -> Groups.
Maybe is it usefull to specify one group as a parameter for that script, that new entries assigned to (or maybe a global var)?
