Is this still maintained? #263

Open buroa opened 11 months ago

buroa commented 11 months ago

There is a lot of inactivity around issues & pull requests.

Technetium1 commented 11 months ago

It's not not-maintained… If there are any problems, please report or do a PR if possible. Volunteers and feedback are crucial to projects like this, especially with the huge variety of services used.

Unfortunately, this doesn't solve the problem with open pull requests. I can obviously make PR's but if they will sit, what's the point? We need the maintainer to comment here.

Looks like the dev @anudeepND has time to comment on other things, but not his own project: https://github.com/polylang/polylang/issues/1365

@buroa it happens, life gets busy. Not sure you noticed, but they are not making money from this project and still have bills to pay. All of the time and effort is donated, so your expectations should match. If you'd like to fork and contribute changes, you're more than welcome to, and I'm sure PRs would be appreciated in the interim if you don't intend to maintain it yourself.

Why are you stating obvious things around open source projects, like we don't already know this isn't funded? Just stating facts to insert yourself is going to get you nowhere; and quite frank, lose respect from other members on GitHub. You have never contributed to this repo, end of story.

This issue is towards the maintainer.
