Cannot log into Google Apps after changing Drupal Username (account not existing in Apps)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set up grupal
2. changed existing username
3. tried to log into Google Apps (eg. Docs)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should log in

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
