[RM Chap8] Hybrid Multi-Cloud - Multi-Cloud Interactions Model - Work/Standard/Technologies Supporting Realisation #3095

What are the related work / standards / technologies assets that are available to help CSP realize a manageable Hybrid Multi-Cloud ?

The "Telco Operator Platform Conceptual Architecture" and "Multi-Cloud Interactions Model" describe what needs to be supported.

Need to finalise section: "Requirements, Reference Architecture & Industry Standards Intersect" by identify what existing assets that can are available to realise this.

This requires some survey of prior work to gather candidate assets and then these need to be reviewed and classified (as per criteria).

Example draft might look like this (from Porto Interactions Model Briefing) ...

Are we working on the architecture, or is it about technology assets?

  1. Edge OPG should be included
  2. CNCF should be included (e.g ONAP , Camara , Nephio)
  3. May be need more assets from PCP's a. Azure ARC b. GCDE pipelines etc

Adding a bit of specificity about some important assets:

  1. MEF 51.1 from the Edge perspective
  2. OPG: Operator Platform Telco Edge Requirements Version 2.0, plus OPAG work (OPG API)
  3. 5GFF consortium (working with OPG and LFN through CAMARA)

Good point reg hyperscaler patterns, but they are not open source and not even open. I propose to discuss how much of hyperscalers' assets we would like to include.
