Enhanced README and documentation

This commit includes several improvements to the project's documentation:

• Fixed the linking issue of various sections in the README file.
• Modified the overview and contribution section of the README file.
• Added reference to API documentation and security versioning of the project.
• Removed redundant images from the project.
• Added a new badge for GitHub fork and resolved the failing link to the docs of the project.
• Solved some formatting issues in demon_connect_docs.md.
