"shift+enter" for <br> in place of <p> ? #24

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When I do shift enter, it creates a new paragraph 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normally, it would be a <br> tag

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Last version, on safari 3

Please provide any additional information below.
Is it normal? How to do a simple "<br>" for going to the next line ?
