Medium article....need the portion to extract text from .pdf #1

I was trying to follow what you were dong with the python on Medium , however I don't read python but rather bash. The little I know of python isn't much help either. What I would like to find is a better pdf processing engine for TTS and i'm wondering if your code will produce better output than what I have now so that I can then feed it into a TTS engine after it has been reviews.

Hi, looking at stuff, I have zero clue what a Juniper notebook is and don't care to learn....is the straight python to decode the .pdf available anywhere? I'm really hoping that it is well above poppler's pdftotext.
