When users visit a website for the first time, they need a clear, easy-to-follow path to navigate. A “How to Use the Website” guide helps them understand exactly how to make the most of what the platform offers.

1. Explore the Website and Identify Key Features Before creating your guide, take some time to explore the website. As you navigate, take note of the main features that users should know about. Here’s a list of common sections to focus on:

Home Page: What’s the website about? Give users a brief overview of SwapReads and its purpose. Sign Up/Sign In: How do users create an account or log in? Walk them through the process of registering and signing in. Search and Browse Books: How can users find books? Show them how to search by title or author and how to explore different categories. Add Books: Help users understand how to add books they want to give away or swap. What details do they need to provide? Swap Process: Explain how the swapping system works. What’s the process for requesting a book, accepting a swap, and confirming the transaction?
