[Feature Request] Skills + Approaches #81

Hi there! Love the customization options on the system One feature I miss, would be the ability to organize Skills from Core and Approaches from Accelerated in differente categories, like in this article:

https://fate-srd.com/fate-codex/what-you-do-and-how-you-do-it-merging-fate-core-and-accelerated

There is a sample sheet at the end which makes it clear in a glance what I mean.

Cheers!

Hey @thiago-CTN, I'm not exactly sure what you're requesting. You can already mix skills and approaches right now, as both work the same. You can simply add skills and approaches to the list of skills and it should work fine out of the box.

Are you asking for new UI to differentiate better between the two kinds of skills? 🙂

Sorry, I wasn't clear, but you got it, a way to keep those separate on the character sheet. And to make it functional, a system to roll Skill + Approach.

I 100% support this request! Another example is Tachyon Squadron, where the skills are separated into different lists. You can see the character sheet here: https://evilhat.com/product/tachyon-squadron/

I use the same criteria in most of my games, where skills are categorized in groups, mostly based on the "modes" idea that makes easy the character creations or the translation from other systems (like this idea https://fate-srd.com/fate-system-toolkit/skill-modes or this other one https://fate-srd.com/atomic-robo/modes).

No additional functionality is requested, just the option to create more than one skill list, with an editable header name in the character sheet.
