Email from Vince: We have worked with STRIDES through NHGRI grant independent of AnVIL -- and this pertained to AWS. What is interesting is that the STRIDES/AWS connection grants to the user access to AWS Enterprise support, a product that costs a subscribing entity $15K/month to start. It seems very significant -- you can file tickets, get strategy evaluations, etc.

Is there a similar arrangement with GCP? Is that a question direct to the STRIDES person?

One might argue that AnVIL/Terra "is" the enterprise support for researchers and so Google enterprise support is not relevant. But if there is a substantial asymmetry between STRIDES values for AWS users vs GCP it would be interesting to know.
