Basic single sided stripboard cannot be resized correctly #3005

I tried to make a scheme on a simple basic stripboard.
Since there is no strip board with standard three connect points per island in
a vertical layout I tried to resize the board from the default (30 columns * 20
rows) to 38 columns by 3 rows. Then by adding six boards to the layout I could
simulate my experiment board which has 38 columns with 18 rows. Vertically 3
points are connected, giving space to 38 * 6 "islands".

However after resizing the board to 38*3 the new 8 columns are all electrically
connected, giving a block of 8*3 connected contacts. This is a bug in the
design of the stripboard.
