Twitch recently added the squad feature. https://blog.twitch.tv/squad-stream-the-next-way-to-play-and-watch-together-32d9ad2ac555 Do you think this could be handled by the addon ?

Not possible with Kodi currently

not an expert at all but isn't it a way looking at overlay features of ffmpeg? thinking about the ffmpeg inputstream addon from kodi... If you don't see any obvious showstopper, I could try to prototype it at spare time
