Tabletop Simulator works once, then never again. #112

After first installing, the game loaded properly. Then after every consecutive time, the game is maximized & windowed (Should be fullscreen) and shows a black screen. Or the game simply crashes on selecting a viewmode, like the error above. Re-installing steam allowed it to load one time again, then reverting to the same error.

Sounds like a general settings bug to me. We can only try to help if the bug occurs with our custom runtime libraries, sorry. I guess you have to check the official bug tracker.

Found a fix from Gentoo wiki, pasting

LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH" %command%

in the launch options box in Steam for TTS now lets the game launch correctly every time. I'm guessing a permanent fix will prob need to be addressed to the devs.

Hm, that sounds strange. o.O I can't imagine why they change the library path between application runs. But thanks, I'll leave this open for a while in case someone else is looking for a solution.
