Elemental Totems totems This is a simple tutorial on how to use the elemental totems and how to build them. First off what materials do you need for a totem. 9 Void Stone, 1 Elemental Dust Block, 1 Machine Core. You'll also neeed a void tool as well to configure the Machine Core to the particular elemental totem and eventually other machine configurations. Time to get started.

Look fore an area where you want to place elemental totem. 2015-10-24_15 08 47

I'm using a redstone ready flat world. Lets look at the inventory. 2015-10-24_15 07 17

For this example were going to build a Fire Totem. Now to build it you can place it any were you want I prefer to put part of the machine under ground but can be place above if you want to. 2015-10-24_15 07 17

Now place the Machine Core in the middle and place 8 of the void stone around it. Now its time to show you how to configure the machine core. Select you void tool and [sneek][right-click] the machine core. 2015-10-24_15 15 50

What does [sneek][right-clicking] is for. Well it shows you what the Machine Core is currently configured to. At the moment it configured for a Fire Totem from the message specified. To change to a different simply [right-click] the Machine Core. For example... 2015-10-24_15 20 20

Its now configured to be a water totem. Just [right-click] once more to change it to a air totem, etc. However, for this example we want a Fire Totem. Just keep [right-clicking] it until messages tells you that its back to being a Fire Totem (Note: I'm going to make the Machine Core a ui interface eventually but until this method is the second best thing). Now place the void stone above the Machine Core, then place the Fire Dust Block on top of the Void Stone like so. 2015-10-24_15 34 05

Next I'm going to show you how to create elemental fire iron. 2015-10-24_15 51 31 Put iron blocks around the Fire Totem and wait about 3 seconds. After that time the iron blocks should change to Fire Iron Blocks. 2015-10-24_15 52 55

Now I'm going to show you how to create Fire Diamond Blocks. 2015-10-24_15 55 06 Put the diamond blocks around the Fire Totem and after 6 seconds it should become Fire Diamond blocks. Like so. 2015-10-24_15 55 58

This is pretty what the Totems Do simply surround the blocks with what ever Elemental Totem you are using and you'll get what ever element the totem is. If you want to convert these materials back to regular iron or diamond blocks simple create a Void Totem and it will convert them back. Now you might be wondering what these element iron and diamonds are going to be used for. Well there main purpose is to be used with multiblock machines and possibly items as well. Look forward to it. :D
