Wrong End date in step 2 for ACORN layers #1159

smancini commented 10 years ago

IMOS Portal v3.24.0-rc3, build date: 23/05/2014 10:07

Steps to reproduce: add any ACORN (radar) layers on the map.

Expected outcome: "End date" of the temporal extent filter should be displaying the latest date with data for that layer.

Observed outcome: The "end date" does not correspond to the latest data available in ncWMS. The "end date" is older than the date used for the default display on the portal. e.g: with the ACORN Rottnest QC layer the "end date" is 2010-04-24 while the displayed date is 2013-11-20.

This is more of a content problem. Was the layer scanned recently?

smancini commented 10 years ago

I am not sure it is a problem with the scanner because the layer displayed the latest date correctly. It is only the 'end date" box that is not getting updated accordingly. I am sure it was before

Still relevant?

I have now tagged this as a bug,

Steps to reproduce:

Add any ncwms (ACORN) collection to the map, taken to step 2 observe the Temporal extent filter

What should happen:

The to date and the displayed date should at least match in the first instance whether the scanner is up to date as this used to be the case, also when the user changes the "to" date the displayed date does match

What does happen:

The from and to dates are set to dates 2 years ago but the display date is the most recent.
