Some collections do not have subset tabs = no data to download #615

Not sure if the downloadable data is still to come for these collections?

Steps to reproduce:

Add: IMOS SOOP Expandable Bathythermographs (XBT) Research Group - XBT delayed mode data

Collaborative and Automated Tools for the Analysis of Marine Imagery (CATAMI) Project

IMOS SOOP Expandable Bathythermographs (XBT) Research Group - XBT real-time data

Collections to the map

What should happen

They should have subsetting filters

WHat does happen

SOOP collections just outright do not have subset filters, CATAMI just tried to load them

CATAMI is waiting on a change at iVEC - then there should be subset options..

But we need a way to hide search results until the collection has been fully configured in the portal.

Un-publish in geonetwork @pblain ?

Yes, data collections shouldn't be published in geonetwork unless they have data and are configured. There is a JPSR meeting coming up to discuss what to do with collections that have no data. The are 3 options:

  1. Don't show un-harvested data collections in 123 at all. The user has to go to AODN.
  2. Show them in the search results greyed out (with a link to AODN).

  3. Show them in the search results. The user can get to step 2 but will not be able to subset or download the data.

    I'll close this bug for now. A new feature may be needed to handle this.
