argo - aggregated dataset #458

in 2012 we created some argo aggregated datasets. see http://thredds.aodn.org.au/thredds/catalog/IMOS/Argo/aggregated_datasets/catalog.html

They are quite redundant with what can be done with WFS and the portal, and haven't been updated in over 8 years. It would be very easy and better for users to remove them.

@smancini do you have any opinion on the matter?

@lbesnard could be an issue if people used them back then and have published referring to them

they don't have any doi attached to them so we can do anything we want mouhahaha

Doesn't matter, if we are being good data repository people

I stilll think this data is useless now, making the user experience bad. I actually don't think we should keep all data. The data still exist in the main Argo dataset on our S3 storage. These files are just bad, completely obsolete
