update attribute problem/strange behavior

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Configure more than 1 attributes in PWM-> Modules -> Update Profile without 
setting it required. These attributes should be unvalued after the user object 
is created in eDirectory/LDAP directory. The attributes are unvalued during PWM 
update profile process.
2. Update some of the attributes (attr1, attr2) leaving at least one empty 
(attr3).

What is the expected output? 
PWM should update filled in attributes (attr1,attr2) in eDir, unfilled/empty 
form attribute values (attr3) should not be handled in this operation.

What do you see instead?
An error occurred while saving your profile information. Please contact your 
administrator. { 5047 ERROR_UPDATE_ATTRS_FAILURE (error removing 'attr3' 
attribute value on user cn=xxx,ou=YYY,o=ZZZ, error: [LDAP: error code 16 - NDS 
error: no such attribute (-603)]) } 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

PWM is installed on SUSE 11 SP1 x86_64, connecting to eDir 8.8 SP6 Patch 2.

1.5.5 doesn't seem to fix the issue for me.  Can you think of a specific 
configuration that may be getting in the way?

Please set log level to trace, set the setting Misc -> LDAP Chai Settings 
setting to:

chai.wireDebug.enable=true

and share your results here.
