some of them are a good fit, other are probably more interesting as snippets than as final scripts (at least as long as there is not a way to add scripts to a toolbar...)

the "image wizard advanced" should be taken as an inspiration for implementing the features in scribus itself.

i don't see why it should not be possible to apply those actions to multiple images at the same time.

the part about selecting parts of group is imo a bit specific to the author needs (which is a very good thing! but not a reason for including into scribus) and it can be solved in a general case by selecting the single items of a group by holding down the alt key.

the "Image Wizard: Scale and Align an Image" could be useful.

but, again, i prefer to see it implemented in scribus itself.

for the short term, x-pos and y-pos should accept the widht and height "variables" (as they are in the frame's width and height field). this would at least solve the bottom / right alignment (but not the center).
