Describe the bug

I'm trying to extract a split zip file but keep getting the same error message. I've downloaded the file multiple times in case it's corrupted.

@Rinacio19 the logs shows that the file is corrupt. How many parts does it have? Are they in the same folder?

If all its placed where it should, maybe it was corrupted while being uploaded. Please check with your source.

3 parts in the same folder. I requested the source to send me the files again, however, I got the same error message. They open just fine on his (Windows) PC.

Did the source sent you the same link or did they uploaded the files again?

You can both check the files checksum to be sure the original file and your downloaded file are exactly the same. Do this with each of the three parts.

On Windows, using cmd:

certutil -hashfile C:\path\to\your\file.zip MD5

On macOS, using the Terminal.app:

md5 /path/to/your/file.zip

I confirmed the file I got is different, however, I still get the same error message.

It seems it's corrupted on another part of the file. Please check with your source the checksum of the files, as stated before:

On Windows, using cmd:

certutil -hashfile C:\path\to\your\file.zip MD5

On macOS, using the Terminal.app:

md5 /path/to/your/file.zip
