Option for Switching from New to Old icon #381

I like the new app icon, but I love the old archive icons. Could Keka add an option for switching archive icons or give me a way to change the default archive icon? image

You can do this with the download version. Remove codesigning and then copy old icons in.

@gingerbeardman Where are the old icons? What do you mean by "the download version"? How do I remove codesigning? Edit: I accidentally closed the issue when I thought it was going to close the tab.

You can get the app through the app store or download it surveillance from here.

For codesigning see here https://github.com/aonez/Keka/issues/123#issuecomment-466965500

@aaronliu0130 I also love the old ones but they're not retina compatible.

You want the icons only in the Keka toolbar or also being applied to the Finder? Apple makes no option for an App to dynamically apply different set of icons to files, being them specified in a fixed PLIST file. If you only wanted the toolbar ones that can be done in a future release but the later option, as of now, can't be done officially. You can however do the @gingerbeardman tip, manually replacing the files and resigning the app.

You can get the old icons from a legacy Keka version.
