plugin updates in ios folder #945

Hi currently I do not have cordova structure , I just have a ios folder which was build from a cordova project in 4-5 years old setup. Is there a way to update plugin or do changes in config files in ios folder using xcode or any other way ? (Only ios folder exists which was generated via cordova build ios command no other folders I have)
