@yabha-isomap Thanks for raising the issue. Have you configured Hadoop classpath? The NoClassDefFoundError
for FSDataInputStream
means that the Hadoop dependencies are missing and you need to configure that in Flink.
Thanks @yihua . Yes I tried with that a well. Although there is nothing mentioned in the tutorial, I setup classpath using environment variable HADOOP_CLASSPATH
. But still I get the same error.
The HADOOP_CLASSPATH
is required by the Flink SQL Client, if you wanna debug the flink hudi demo through a Java app locally, you need to add the hadoop-common
as a dependency explicitly, see the hudi-flink
module pom as an example.
Thanks @danny0405 . When I use following dependency
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.hadoop</groupId>
<artifactId>hadoop-common</artifactId>
<version>3.3.4</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
Then it doesn't give the error but it doesn't work as expected. I.e. No records get written to hudi table.
But instead if I use following dependency then it works as expected.
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.hudi</groupId>
<artifactId>hudi-hadoop-mr-bundle</artifactId>
<version>0.12.1</version>
</dependency>
Any thoughts?
hudi-flink1.15-bundle
hudi-hadoop-mr-bundle
in pom.xml then I getjava.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/hadoop/fs/FSDataInputStream
.
