Corrected minor typos, improved capitalization of proper names, improved formatting
Corrected nomenclature: OS X and Mac OS => macOS
Changed mentions of gcc-6 to gcc-8, the current version in Homebrew
Noted that GCC 5.x no longer installs on macOS 10.13+ using Homebrew
